Environmental Policy Statement

The Board of IM Europe recognises the importance of effective environmental management to both the Company and the wider environment.
We will comply with all applicable legislation and other relevant requirements associated with our environmental aspects and impacts.
We are committed to the continual improvement of all environmental aspects and impacts associated with our operations.
We are committed to the prevention of pollution in all that we do.
A sustainable approach to the development and provision of our products and services will be adopted where possible.
The Company is committed to these high environmental standards and we expect all employees to be familiar with and comply with the contents of this Policy, failure of which will be treated as a disciplinary matter.
This policy will be modified whenever necessary and will be reviewed at least annually.

Our objectives as per our Environmental Policy

IM Europe obtained the ISO14001/2004 accreditation in January 2013
Spreading best practice via a common approach and standard processes
Improved environmental awareness within the business
Ensuring legislative compliance
Credibility with existing and new business clients
Reducing carbon footprint from use of energy, water and transport
Reducing emissions from landfill by increasing waste recycling

RoHS Compliance

All products released on the market after 1st July 2006 must meet with the requirements of the Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. Products placed on the market before 1st July 2006, as well as spare parts for the repair of units released on the market before that date, are outside the scope of the RoHS Directive. IME tracks all PNs in relation to their RoHS status so can inform customers of the type of part going into their systems.

EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Compliance

We adhere to the requirements of the current legislation. We are able to provide disposal services in an environmentally friendly manner according to regulations
