Inventory Management Europe Ltd (IME) is an independent provider  of high quality IT products & services for the Enterprise and Data Centre markets. As a provider of refurbished spare parts & systems we are an integral part of the circular economy.


Excess parts, metals or plastics are sent to specialist recycling centres that extract precious metals. We have a zero-landfill policy and only use WEEE compliant partners for recycling.

IME was established in November 2009. We provide computer spares to the maintenance and reseller industries. Our main location is in Witney, Oxfordshire.

With 100 years combined experience in the industry and a solid customer track record covering most fields of computer hardware, from mainframe to servers including storage, mainly in IBM, HPE and Dell/EMC products.

Technical Support

We provide technical support to help our customers benefit from our vast expertise in a variety of OEMs. This can take a number of forms and can be ad hoc or as part of a supply chain contract:

  • Diagnostics/Troubleshooting
  • Action Plan devising and follow through
  • Either remotely (phone/e-mail) or on site accompanying our customers’ engineers

Our advice is based on gathering the background information from the field, in the shape of logs, support files, screenshots. An action plan is then devised in conjunction with the customer and all steps of its implementation can be monitored if required.

The outcomes are analysed at various stages to ensure adequacy with the action plan and amend it if required. To make this easy for our customers, we use a system of pre-paid tickets which allows our customers to use our engineers without the need to worry about purchase orders, etc.

Technical Training

Whether your company is looking to refresh its engineers’ knowledge or to expand into new areas, we can help you with our training services:

  • Beginner, Intermediate and Expert level training

  • “Train the trainer” for when it’s not practical to send several engineers to attend a training course, we can arrange bespoke training for you and the team

  • Advanced L2 training for support desk engineers

  • Customised training labs where we can replicate a customer configuration and fault(s) enabling bespoke support simulated training

  • Hands-on training, troubleshoot faults, fully dismantle and rebuild machines

  • Training session are carried out at our Witney premises in our specially designed training suite or at your or your partner’s premises

  • Training lab can be provided at customer site (access and environment dependent for larger lab environments)

  • Engineers who attend our courses will, on successful completion,  receive an IME certificate, as well as their course book.
